Neurological Physiotherapist · Founder & Technical Director at GNeuro
Francisco J. González Granja is a physiotherapist specializing in robotic neurorehabilitation and founder of GNeuro in Ourense, Spain. With over a decade of clinical experience at leading hospitals in Galicia, he leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to functional recovery of patients with neurological damage.
He currently works as a physiotherapist at CHOU (University Hospital Complex of Ourense), treating acute inpatients with neurological damage, ICU, and trauma. Previously, for over 10 years he headed the Neurological Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit at CHUVI (Hospital do Meixoeiro, Vigo), one of the leading units in Galicia for acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
At GNeuro, Francisco has integrated state-of-the-art robotic technology—Lokomat, Armeo, Amadeo, Diego, and Tymo—with evidence-based clinical protocols to deliver intensive neurorehabilitation for patients with stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spasticity, neuropathic pain, and treatment-resistant depression.
GNeuro’s founding team includes professionals from the Galician public health system: a rehabilitation physician from CHOU and a speech therapist from the CHUVI Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. This combination of hospital expertise and advanced robotic technology enables comprehensive, personalized care.
Francisco contributes to clinical education through articles on neurotechnology applied to rehabilitation, accessible to both healthcare professionals and patient families.
